Supervise and coordinate the activities of the machine shop team to meet production targets and quality standards
Monitor and optimize the performance of the machinery and equipment, implementing preventive maintenance procedures to ensure smooth operations
Develop and implement production schedules, work instructions, and quality control processes to maintain efficiency and product quality
Identify and resolve any production issues or bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions as needed
Provide training and mentorship to machine shop personnel to develop their skills and capabilities
Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality control, to ensure seamless operations
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production, maintenance, and quality control
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Machine Shop Supervisor or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of machine shop operations, including CNC machining, tooling, and equipment maintenance
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and implement effective solutions
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or a related field
