Descripción
- Drive the ambulance carefully and efficiently to transport patients, medical staff, or emergency responders.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of the patient during transit.
- Select the fastest and safest routes to medical facilities.
- Help EMTs, nurses, or paramedics in handling patients.
- Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) if trained and certified.
- Assist in loading and unloading patients from stretchers.
Requisito
- At least a high school graduate (some employers may require college-level education, particularly in health-related courses).
- A degree or training in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Basic Life Support (BLS), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification is an advantage.
