In response to growing client demand, we are seeking experienced research journalists with a strong focus on international relations, geopolitics, and political developments in Latin America, particularly South America and Cuba.


·Key Responsibilities:

Identify, track, and develop high-impact news leads related to international relations, geopolitics, and political developments across Latin America.

Monitor regional governments, policy shifts, diplomatic relations, and socio-political trends.

Conduct interviews with experts, policymakers, analysts, and local sources to gather firsthand insights.

Verify facts rigorously and maintain a reliable network of regional contacts and sources.

Write timely news briefs, in-depth features, and explanatory analyses.

Analyze public records, policy documents, economic data, and geopolitical developments; synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights.


·Requirements:

Strong expertise or demonstrated experience in International Relations, Political Science, Journalism, or a related field.

Deep understanding of Latin American political systems, regional dynamics, and geopolitical context (South America and Cuba highly preferred).


Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

Exceptional news judgment with the ability to identify emerging political and diplomatic stories.

Background in investigative journalism or political risk analysis.

Existing network of regional experts, academics, or policy professionals.
