Bermaz Auto Berhad was incorporated in May 2010 as a private limited company and was subsequently converted to a public company in July 2011 and listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in November 2013. The company adopted its present name, Bermaz Auto Berhad, in October 2016. It was admitted to FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Index in June 2020 and FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Shariah Index in July 2021. The Company is rated four (4) stars (the highest rating) by FTSE Russell, which is for public listed companies with a FTSE4Good ESG Rating of 3.7 or higher. Bermaz Auto Berhad is principally an investment holding company whilst its key subsidiaries are principally involved in the following activities: (1) Bermaz Motor Sdn Bhd (100% owned subsidiary): Distributor of specific Mazda marque vehicles in Malaysia; (2) Bermaz Motor Trading Sdn Bhd (100% owned subsidiary): Distributor and retailer of new and pre-owned Mazda marque vehicles and provision of after-sales services and spare parts in Malaysia; (3) Bermaz Xpeng Sdn Bhd (85% owned subsidiary): Distributor and retailer of new and pre-owned XPeng vehicles and provision of after-sales services and spare parts in Malaysia; (4) Dinamikjaya Motors Sdn Bhd (65% owned subsidiary): Distributor and retailer of new and pre-owned Kia vehicles and provision of after-sales services and spare parts in Malaysia; (5) Bermaz Auto Philippines Inc (64.75% owned subsidiary): Distributor of Mazda vehicles and spare parts in the Philippines.
