We are seeking a seasoned Senior Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, build, and maintain our containerized infrastructure. You will partner with development and SRE teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly automated platform solutions that enable rapid application delivery and robust operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain production-grade Kubernetes clusters (GKE) and associated platform services.
• Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Cloud Build, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Build and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi to automate provisioning and configuration.
• Implement containerization best practices leveraging Docker and containerd.
• Author scripts and automation tools in Python, Go, or Bash to streamline platform operations and deployments.
• Collaborate with development, security, and SRE teams to define platform standards, security controls, and operational runbooks.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and drive capacity planning and cost-optimization initiatives.
• Evaluate and onboard new GCP services and third-party tooling to enhance platform capabilities.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production environments.
• Strong background in software development or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Proven track record designing and implementing platform engineering solutions at scale.
• Expert knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, containerd).
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Solid scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with core GCP services: GKE, Cloud Build, Cloud Storage, IAM, etc.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
